Re-Enactment

Historical re-enactment is a hobby where participants recreate historical events, battles, or everyday life from different periods. Enthusiasts, known as re-enactors, dress in authentic costumes, use period-accurate equipment, and sometimes engage in mock battles or living history displays to bring the past to life.

Types of Re-enactment
Living History – Focuses on daily life, crafts, and social customs of a historical period.
Combat Re-enactment – Includes staged battles, duels, and military drills using safe weapons.
Theatrical Re-enactment – Recreates specific historical events with scripted performances.
Experimental Archaeology – Tests historical techniques, such as blacksmithing or cooking, to understand the past better.
